Program Overview

Within the chemistry of drugs, knowledge from basic chemical disciplines is applied in defining the relationship between physico-chemical and other properties of drugs and their biological activity; provides knowledge on the mechanism of action of drugs at the molecular level, drug-receptor interactions, chemical drug interactions, chemical aspects of drug metabolism, designing new as well as optimizing existing drugs.
