The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering is a discipline that focuses on the integrated field of chemical and biological engineering, two of the most important sciences in the 21st century.The department educates students to become specialized professionals in the fields of precision chemistry, biological engineering, environment, energy and bio materials (biomedical materials, electronic materials, and bio-MEMS) by combining both chemical processes and bio engineering technologies.Students are also offered opportunities to gain professional knowledge through computer education programs that include plant design and bio-information studies.
