Program Overview

The Department of Chinese Studies is different from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature in that it makes students understand general details of Chinese culture by learning Chinese politics, economy, philosophy, religions, fine arts, music, anthropology, and geopolitics widely focusing on Chinese sentence words and furthermore, do China and Chinese people.Therefore, the Department of Sinology makes students learn various subjects widely and professionally by opening them and make efforts to get them to be sound intellectuals who can lead the development of the upcoming relationship between Korea and China based on this. Especially, it has implemented local education in China to sophomores in each semester and the exchange of exchange students with sister universities every semester to improve their linguistic ability and experience local areas.
