Program Overview

Students enrolled for the premedical course in Korean medicine will learn a medical system that combined academic theories and clinical techniques suitable for the physical constitution and lifestyle of Koreans.The curriculum is divided into two programs: a two year program preparatory course and a four year program regular course.During the first and second school years of the regular course, students will study fundamental medical science including original classic Korean medical reference books, herbal medicines, anatomy and pathology, and during the third and fourth school years, students will study and practice clinical medicine.The program also promotes globalization of Korean medicine by continuously monitoring and studying research trends in Korean medicines overseas through dynamic academic exchanges with our sister university, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
