Life sciences constitute the parts of natural sciences and are involved in the study of living organisms and the related systems.The Department of Life Sciences hosts six faculty research laboratories working on the areas spanning the breadth of modern biological study areas from taxonomy to cellular, genomic and systems biology, providing broad educational and research opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students. In our unified and strong education programs, students learn how to integrate and interpret biological phenomena into logical and meaningful decisions.
