Program Overview

The Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education aims to provide basic training needed to work as a teacher of the 6 to 12 year age group in compulsory education. The degree is based on the teaching methods of Rosa Sensat, known throughout the country for her tasks as an educator and teacher. It shares the same study plan (objectives, subjects and curricular contents) with the degree in Primary Education in Catalan, with the aim of training professionals prepared to teach within the context of the Catalan school system. Lectures are taught mostly in English. The degree offers general training with the possibility of choosing from four specialisations: Foreign Languages, Physical Education, Musical Education and Special Educational Needs.
