The Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Management offers comprehensive training in the logistics of air transport in which students specialise in socioeconomic, legal and logistical issues of importance to the aeronautical sector, and in basic areas of air navigation. The aim is to train up professionals who are able to take decisions in the organisation and planning of airlines and in the strategic and logistic planning of airports. Transport in general, and air transport in particular, have become a key factor in the competitiveness and sustainability of industry in an increasingly more globalised productive economy.

The UAB is the first in Spain to have offered a Degree in Aeronautical Management within the parameters of the European Higher Education Area, a degree that it has been teaching since 2004-2005, and for which it is a national benchmark, alongside the Universidad Aut noma de Madrid.
