Program Overview

The Bachelor's Degree in East Asian Studies trains specialists in the knowledge and management of economic, cultural and political relations with an area of the world which is vital to the process of globalisation and which will and is playing an essential role in the development of the 21st century. This degree equips students with knowledge on the social structures of countries of the Asian Pacific region and its customs, beliefs, ideologies and cultures, with a special emphasis on the languages of the region. It specifically provides students with advanced knowledge of the Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture.
