Bachelor in Economics + Law

6 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Navarra

Program Overview

The Double Degree in Economics and Law at the University of Navarra is a comprehensive six-year program that combines strong training in economic analysis with solid legal education. It is designed for motivated students who want to understand how markets, institutions, and legal systems interact, and who are interested in careers that require both analytical thinking and knowledge of law and regulation.

Curriculum structure:

In the first year, you will build foundational knowledge in both disciplines through subjects such as Financial Accounting, Quantitative Methods, Theory of Law, and Roman Law. These courses help you understand economic principles while also introducing the structure and foundations of legal systems.

In the second year, you will study core economic subjects like Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, along with Probability and Statistics. At the same time, you will begin deeper legal training, including Constitutional Rights and International Public Law, giving you a balanced understanding of economics and law.

In the third year, the program advances to more analytical and specialised subjects such as Game Theory and Economy and Society for a Sustainable Environment, alongside legal courses including General Theory of Crime, Civil Contracts, and Procedural Law. This stage strengthens your ability to apply theory to real-world economic and legal situations.

In the fourth year, you will have an international academic experience through an exchange period and continue with advanced subjects such as Public Sector studies, Financial and Tax Law, Labor Law, and Administrative Law. This year prepares you to understand complex institutional and regulatory environments.

In the fifth year, you will deepen your expertise with specialised modules including Tax Law, Criminal Proceedings, Human Resources Management, and Decision Analysis, further developing your professional and analytical skills.

In the sixth and final year, you will complete elective subjects, may participate in another exchange opportunity, and finish the Final Degree Projects in both Economics and Law. You will also study advanced topics such as International Finance, Family and Inheritance Law, and Legal Ethics, bringing together everything you have learned throughout the program.
