The Bachelor's Degree major in Musicology develops the fundamental knowledge of music and the history of music and is combined with the practice of methodological and operational academic work. The Bachelor's Degree Musicology major represents a main qualification for academic activities in the area of media (print media, publishing, broadcasting, and television), cultural management and administration (theatre, orchestra, festivals, music agencies and administration), business and economic sector (music industry, other business and economic areas), and academic services (archives, libraries, and research institutes).

Upper secondary school-leaving certificate + 2 years of university-level studies recognised by the respective university or 5 Advanced Placement Tests, each one with a minimal score of 3 and including 2 languages, mathematics/calculus, one natural sciences subject and one social sciences subject, Proficiency in German Language, Goethe Zertifikat C2, IELTS of 7.0, TOEFL Internet-based 100.
