University of Zurich is a public university located in the city of Zürich which was established in1833. It is the largest university in Switzerland. 

University of Zurich comprises of nine faculties: Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Human Medicine, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Faculty of  Law,  Faculty of Mathematics and Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of  Theology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of philosophy. The university offers the widest range of subjects and courses of any Swiss higher education institution. The university also has colleges of theology, law, and medicine. 

University of Zurich has more than 25,800 students which include undergraduate students, graduate students, and numerous international students as well. The university has more than 3,700 faculty members. 

University of Zurich holds special events for prospective students and for first semester students. The university also offers an Academic Sports Association which has a wide range of sports facilities and activities open to the entire university community. Its offers include traditional sports as well as various new and exciting kinds of sports. The University of Zurich honors outstanding academic achievements with a variety of awards. The University as a whole also ranks in the top ten of Europe and in the top fifty worldwide.
