Program Overview

The bachelor's program Eastern Europe Studies - he was the first of its kind in Switzerland - conveys basic knowledge about history and cultures, literatures and languages of the Eastern European regions, and he also focuses on the interconnections between Eastern and Western Europe. The students also have the opportunity to acquire knowledge of Eastern Europe in the fields of art, business and society and - in addition to Russian - to learn a second (or even third) Slavic language.
