This Bachelor's Degree major provides students with an understanding of Germanic corpus linguistics and the historical contexts of Germanic languages. The focus is on the structural features and diachronic processes of the history of Germanic linguistics, as well as the central historical traditions of Germanic languages, and their cultural and historical background (within the context of early European cultural and inter-cultural traditions).
Upper secondary school-leaving certificate + 2 years of university-level studies recognised by the respective university or 5 Advanced Placement Tests, each one with a minimal score of 3 and including 2 languages, mathematics/calculus, one natural sciences subject and one social sciences subject, Proficiency in German Language, Goethe Zertifikat C2, IELTS of 7.0, TOEFL Internet-based 100.
