Program Overview

At the heart of medical studies is the human being in his biological, psychological and social context. It is about maintaining health (prophylaxis), recognizing physical and mental illness as well as social problems (diagnostics) and treating them (therapy). Preparation for work requires medical knowledge of all health disorders (their causes, manifestations and influences) at different stages of life. The study of human medicine includes not only the human and natural sciences basics of medical, surgical and pediatric subjects, but also psychiatry, cross-sectional and special subjects. The study of human medicine is regulated by federal law.
