Popular Culture Studies investigates the cultural dimensions of the world as lived, and how this world presents itself and is fashioned in the literature and media of everyday life. The field is interdisciplinary and located at the intersection of humanities and social sciences; it draws on theories from both areas, and its methods are primarily qualitative.
