Program Overview

The teaching in Prehistoric and Natural Archeology deals with the most important scientific methods of archeology and provides an overview of the cultural-historical foundations from the Paleolithic to the early Middle Ages. Scientific methods are used to analyze the remnants of human culture (eg plant remains, animal and human bones, sediments, various artifacts), which are accessed through excavations, and place them in cultural-historical, environmental, nutritional and economic-historical contexts.
