Midwives provide essential care, advice and support for women and their families during pregnancy, labour and early post-natal stages.This course enables students to develop core midwifery competencies, equips students to confidently apply theory to practice and leads to eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a midwife.
