Program Overview

This specialization prepares students to start their careers in insurance and risk management. The courses introduce the student to different aspects of the risk management process and different techniques. Particular emphasis is given to insurance as one of the most important risk management techniques. Students study different types of insurance including life and health insurance, and commercial lines of insurance. At the end of their studies, graduates are expected to implement their studies in real-life contexts. This could be while serving the insurance industry, the financial sector in general, or assisting in the broader context of the risk management process of any organization.

Transcripts from the previously attended schools, Completion of Grade 12 Certificate, or its equivalent, An attested copy of High School certificate. A score of (950) in the English EmSAT or its equivalent in IELTS - Academic (5.0), or TOEFL IBT 500. Certificate of good conduct, Personal admission statement, EmSAT Mathematics: minimum score of 600.EmSAT Arabic: minimum score of 600, Non-Arabic speakers will be required to take an Arabic preparatory courses for non-Arabic speakers during their first semester at the university.
