Program Overview

Middlesex University offers a BSc Honours in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, a dynamic 3-year undergraduate program designed to equip students with both the technical expertise and investigative skills needed to protect digital environments and respond to cyber threats. This course blends cybersecurity principles with practical digital forensics training, preparing students for real-world challenges in today’s ever-evolving digital landscape.

Curriculum Structure:
The curriculum integrates core computing concepts with hands-on application in the areas of
Fundamentals of cyber security and digital investigation
Network security and ethical hacking
Programming and system architecture
Digital evidence analysis and forensic tools
Final-year individual project in which students solve real-world security or forensic problems
Throughout the course, students learn how to identify vulnerabilities, respond to cyber incidents, and ensure that systems remain secure.

This course is certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) under its recognised academic excellence programme. This certification acknowledges the relevance and quality of the course to the discipline.

Campus Location:

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)
