Curriculum Structure

Years 1 & 2 – Foundations of Medicine
In the first two years, you build a strong scientific base in how the human body works and how disease develops. You study subjects such as Cellular Basis of Life, Molecular Basis of Life, and Circulation and Blood, which introduce you to anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry while also developing your communication and professionalism. These years prepare you to think like a doctor, not just memorize facts.

Years 3 & 4 – Integrated Clinical Sciences
During these years, your learning becomes more clinically focused. Through modules like Cardiovascular System, Respiratory System, and Infection, Inflammation and Immunity, you learn how diseases affect different body systems and how doctors diagnose and manage patients. You also continue developing clinical reasoning, ethics, and patient communication skills that are essential in real medical practice.

Years 5 & 6 – Clinical Clerkships
In the final phase of the program, you move into full hospital-based training. You rotate through Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, and electives, working directly with patients under the supervision of experienced doctors. These years prepare you for internship, residency, and professional medical practice.
