University of Sharjah offers a Bachelor of Science in Medical Diagnostic Imaging whose purpose is to equip students with the required knowledge and practical skills to excel in today's medical imaging sciences. The degree seeks to prepare students for professional careers in medicine, particularly in diagnostic radiography, ultrasound, MRI, and other imaging modalities used in patient diagnosis and treatment. Accreditation:
The program is in conformity with the standards of proper medical and health education authorities in the UAE for ensuring the quality and acceptability of the degree in the country as well as abroad. The accreditation is required by the graduates for registration as professional diagnostic imaging practitioners.
