BA Hons Forensic Psychology

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Worcester

Program Overview

As a forensic psychologist, you can help unpick the tangled web of influences that lead to a criminal act. Beyond detection, forensic psychologists can also help to heal the fractures in society through rehabilitating offenders, providing support for victims and informing the work of fellow professionals within the criminal justice system. As one of only a few specialist Forensic Psychology courses in the country, at Worcester you will gain a comprehensive grounding in both forensic psychology and biology, and how they contribute to our understanding of criminal behaviour. As well as developing the skills you will need to work with both perpetrators and victims of crime, you will also study how research contributes to policy enhancements that improve the criminal justice system, leading to a more just society.
