This 5-year BA (Hons) programme lets you spend your first four years at Wuhan University and then finish your fifth year in Dundee, giving you a truly international architecture education. Curriculum Structure

Year 1-4 (Wuhan University)

Across the first four years, you’ll build foundational and intermediate knowledge in architectural design, history, theory, and technical drawing, studios, and workshops. Teachers include both staff from Wuhan University and visiting or permanent staff from University of Dundee, ensuring that from early on you are exposed to international design standards, CAD facilities, model-making, and studio culture. You will also develop skills in building science, architectural theory, and environmental aspects.

Year 5 (University of Dundee)

In the final year in Dundee, you will move into advanced studio work and integrated design modules (for example, AR40009: Architectural Studies Integrated Design Module) where you work on complex design projects. You’ll also study in modules like Architectural Humanities 4 (HT40003), deepening your ability to analyse architectural history, theory, and critical contemporary debates. You’ll use Dundee’s Matthew Building studios, digital tools, model workshops, and benefit from Dundee’s strong reputation in architecture.
