Program Overview

This course will allow you to top up your existing qualifications to an honours degree in one year, while benefiting from all that Northumbria University and the city of Newcastle has to offer. You ll build on your all-round knowledge of business, adding expertise in accounting and finance as well as transferable professional and managerial techniques. The course includes specialist modules that cover financial reporting analysis, strategic management accounting, and international financial management. The course provides an excellent foundation for jobs in finance, banking, government, and general business leadership. One in six of the UK s top 100 chief executives started out with a finance or accounting degree.

Additional Information & Requirements

A BTEC/HND/foundation degree in Business and Finance (Accounting) at merit level, (IELTS) score of 6.0(or above) with a minimum score in each component of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of 5.5, Pearson Academic score of 62 (or above) with a minimum score in each component of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of 51, Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC 65% and above, High School Graduation Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0, SAT I - An overall score of 1290 including the following minimum scores in each component, (Reading and Writing 650) and (Math 640) / A minimum ACT score of 26/ Advanced Placement Tests - Grade 3 or above in at least two tests (preferably three tests)
