This is one of the best paths into the accounting profession and combines a rigorous academic programme with technical training. Accounting and Finance at UCLan has accreditation from a number of prestigious professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). You ll develop your intellectual capacity, analytical skills and have a strong knowledge and understanding of accounting, enabling you to work in audit, tax and accountancy businesses as well as in financial functions within other organisations.
