This course is advanced entry only from Year 4, depending on your previous experience and qualifications.

The BSc (Hons) Informatics for Business at Edinburgh Napier University combines the disciplines of computing, information systems, and business management to prepare students for the fast-paced world of digital transformation. Course Overview:

Year 4: Honours Project, Business Intelligence and Reporting, Knowledge Management, Information Strategy, Information and Knowledge Organisation

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

  • Optional work placement (typically in Year 3) to gain industry experience

  • If students aren't taking part in the year long placement, they can opt for a Group Project or the Professional Internship Module in Year 3, which lasts for one trimester. This gives them a fantastic chance to work on a project for an external client.

  • Honours project in final year, allowing for in-depth research or consultancy-based work
