Program Overview

The BA (Hons) Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Nottingham Trent University is designed to develop students into innovative thinkers and strategic business leaders.

  • This program offers a unique opportunity to explore the full spectrum of entrepreneurship — from ideation to implementation — through practical, project-based learning, international opportunities, and strong industry collaboration.

Course overview:

  • Year 1: Essentials of Business Development, Principles of Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Economics and Data Analysis, Foundations of Managing and Organising, Personal & Academic Development

  • Year 2: Core modules include Innovation in Business, Enterprise in Practice, and Corporate Entrepreneurship. Students then choose from three options: Study Abroad, Internship, or Enterprise Project

  • Placement Year (Optional): Year-long industry placement opportunity after Year 2; If you choose to do a placement year, you'll pay a reduced fee for that year of £1,850

  • Final Year: Core modules include Developing Professional Impact and Entrepreneurship and Strategy in Action. Students then select from optional modules including Applied Business Research, Sustainability Impact Project, and electives such as Global Supply Chain Strategy, Comparative Management, or Digital Transformation
