The BA (Hons) International Business Management degree helps you build the skills to lead teams, make smart global decisions, and adapt to international markets with confidence and creativity.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1

Your first year sets the foundation for understanding how the international business world works. You’ll explore modules such as Intercultural Management, Social Impact of International Organisations, and International Trade and Commerce. These will help you understand how culture influences global business relationships, how trade shapes the world economy, and how organisations make a social impact. It’s a great start for developing your confidence and awareness in a global context.

Year 2

In your second year, you’ll start thinking like a global manager. You’ll study topics like International Strategy, Data for Decision Making, and Organisational Challenges in International Business. These modules teach you how to analyse complex markets, use data to make effective business decisions, and manage diverse international teams. You’ll also get hands-on experience and the chance to apply your learning through projects and real-world case studies.

Year 3

Your final year is all about putting your knowledge into action. You’ll work on modules such as Contemporary Issues in International Business, Social Responsibility in Practice, and Negotiating Across Cultures. You’ll also complete an International Business Project, where you’ll research and solve a real business problem. This year prepares you to graduate ready to make an impact—whether you’re negotiating deals, leading global teams, or starting your own venture.

(You can also take an optional paid placement year between Year 2 and 3, giving you valuable international or UK work experience before you graduate.)
