Program Overview

Course Overview

  • Year 1: Start strong by building a solid foundation in marketing, business analytics, and accounting.
  • Year 2: Jump into your first six-month placement, then explore optional units and entrepreneurial development.
  • Year 3: Customize your studies even more and take part in a live entrepreneurship project with a charity or NGO. Wrap up this year with your second placement.
  • Year 4: This year is all about you! With no mandatory taught units, you can fully tailor your experience. Collaborate on a real-world business challenge for your final project.

Professional Development Programme (PDP)
Provides career support that includes CV writing, interview training, aptitude tests, and placement assistance.

Teaching & Assessment
Includes a blend of lectures, seminars, workshops, and hands-on sessions. Your assessment will involve coursework and written exams, all guided by expert staff who bring real industry and research experience to the table.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

  • You will complete two six-month placements in Year 2 & Year 3 with different companies, giving you valuable insight into varied roles and work environments. This hands-on experience will help shape your future career path.
  • Year 2: In your second semester you can begin developing your entrepreneurial skills.
  • Year 3: Take part in an entrepreneurial action project in collaboration with a charity or NGO. 
  • Final year: In your Final Year Project, you'll collaborate in teams to tackle a real-world business challenge posed by one of our partner organizations.

Progression & Future Opportunities

  • The graduates have an excellent track record of success. Average salary 15 months after graduation for our Business and Management graduates is £33,500 - £7,500 above the national average (Discover Uni, 2025). 
  • Recent graduate employers include Deloitte, PwC, BMW, Google, and GlaxoSmithKline.
  • 90% of graduates are in employment or further study 15 months after completing the course.
