Program Overview

This four-year course combines comprehensive international business studies with advanced German language learning. It equips students with the cultural knowledge and professional skills required for an international career, especially in German-speaking regions.

  • Years 1 & 2: Learn key business subjects such as finance, marketing, operations, and strategic management, while developing fluency in German and gaining insights into its history, culture, and politics.

  • Year 3: Spend up to 12 months in a German-speaking country. Students can choose an academic exchange, or a work placement. This immersive experience enhances both linguistic and professional development.

  • Final Year: Choose from advanced management and German modules, and enjoy the flexibility to tailor your studies to align with your career aspirations.

Delivered jointly by Bath’s School of Management and the Department of Politics, Languages & International Studies, the course promotes interdisciplinary learning and real-world applications.
