The BSc (Hons) Business Computing at the University of Greenwich is designed for students who want to understand how IT systems drive business success. Blending technical computing knowledge with business insight, this degree equips students to design, build, and support IT solutions in organizational settings. Core areas include IT management, security, business systems design, and project development. Students gain hands-on experience through labs, workshops, and an optional industrial placement, preparing them for diverse roles in the IT and business sectors.
Course overview:
Year 1: Introduction to Business Processes, Systems Development, and Software Engineering
Year 2: Agile development with SCRUM, Data and Web Analytics, and Operations Management, along with optional modules
Year 3: International Management and Organisational Functions and Final year Projects, along with optional modules
Optional Sandwich Year: Paid industry placement between Year 2 and Year 3
