The University of NorthamptonThe Global Business Management course we offer provides an overview of current business management practices and prepares you for a business world that faces intense global competition, economic uncertainties, and changing markets. You will gain fresh insights into strategic management and global business and enhance your leadership and cross-cultural management capabilities. This program employs a practical approach where you will apply business and management theories and concepts to various real-world situations. You will become an analytical and innovative thinker who values ethical business practices, and gain the expertise to work across diverse industries, pursue entrepreneurship or further postgraduate studies.
The programme fosters an interdisciplinary viewpoint of the possibilities and obstacles presented by the global business environment. You will gain a conceptual understanding of global business management and practical insights, as well as personal and professional skills required to work in diverse international organisations, locations, and scenarios. The faculty team for this programme consists of experienced professionals from both the industry and academia. You will be encouraged to think like decision-makers, managers, and entrepreneurs.
Applications are welcomed from students with an HND (Edexcel, ABE, NCC) or Foundation Degree (FdA) in Business (or overseas equivalent) or ATHE extended diploma/ ATHE Level 5 diploma, or OTHM Level 5 in Business Management. Ordinary Degrees (in a business subject) from Scotland (SCQF 360 credits) can also be accepted. English Language Requirements All international and EU students applying for this course must meet the following English language requirement: IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands.
