Curriculum structure
Year 1
Your first year sets you up with the essentials of business. You’ll cover Introduction to Accounting, Business Information Systems, Management Studies and Quantitative Methods. These modules give you the tools to understand how organisations run, how managers make decisions, and how numbers and data shape every business.
Year 2
In your second year you dive deeper into how businesses operate and compete. With modules like Macroeconomics for Business, Operations Management and Principles of Marketing, you’ll explore how global markets shape company strategies, how products and services are delivered, and how people are managed in different organisational settings.
Year 3
This is where everything comes together. You’ll focus on international business through modules such as International Marketing, International Financial Management, Strategic Management and International Strategy and Operations. Placement option
If you choose the placement year, you’ll spend valuable time working in an international business environment. It’s your chance to put theory into practice, gain professional experience, and build connections that can give you a real edge after graduation.
Foundation year (if needed)
For students who want extra preparation, the foundation year includes modules like Essential Maths and Data Analysis and Understanding Organisations. It’s a supportive way to build your confidence before moving into the main degree.
