Birkbeck, University of London is a public research institution located in London, Bloomsbury, England and a constituent college of federal University of London. It was established in 1823 as London Mechanic Institute and became the constituent college of University of London in 1920.
Birkbeck comprises of five schools which cover a wide range of academic disciplines: School of Arts; School of Business, Economics & Informatics; School of Law; School of Science and School of Social Sciences, History and Philosophy. The Master’s Foundation Program is available as a two or three term program offering progression (subject to fulfillment of specified criteria) to range of Master’s degrees.
