3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Cardiff University

Program Overview

If you’re someone who enjoys understanding people, spotting trends, and figuring out why certain brands just work, the BSc Business Management (Marketing) at Cardiff University is designed for you. This programme combines strong business foundations with specialist marketing knowledge, helping you turn creativity and commercial thinking into real career-ready skills.

Curriculum Structure

Year One

In your first year, you’ll settle into the world of business and management. You’ll study core modules like Marketing, Management: Theory and Evidence, and Introduction to Accounting, giving you a clear picture of how organisations operate and how marketing fits into every business decision. By the end of the year, you’ll have a strong base to confidently move into more specialised marketing study.

Year Two

This is where your marketing focus really comes alive. You’ll explore how consumers think and behave through Consumer Behaviour, learn how to design and analyse real research in Marketing Research, and understand how marketing supports business direction in Marketing and Strategy. Alongside this, Performance and Financial Management helps you connect creative marketing ideas with business performance — a skill employers truly value.

Year Three

In your final year, you’ll think like a marketing professional. You’ll complete a Marketing Project, applying your knowledge to real business challenges, and study Strategic Management to understand high-level decision-making. You can then tailor your interests further with options like Digital Marketing or Advertising and Marketing Communications Management, allowing you to graduate with a clear personal specialism.
