University History

Cardiff University is a public research university based in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. The Cardiff University was founded in 1883 and formally established in the year 1884 by Royal Charter. In 1893, it became one of the founding institutions of the University of Wales. In 1972, it became University college, Cardiff. In 1988, it merged with the Wales Institute of Science and technology and in 1999, the name was changed to Cardiff University. In 2004, again the University of Wales College of Medicine merged with the Cardiff University. The Cardiff University is one of the oldest Universities in the United Kingdom and now is one of the leading universities of the world.

Please review the entry requirements, mandatory key elements of which include: -

A high school diploma, or equivalent, with good grades overall and in mathematics.

Minimum IELTS (Academic) for UKVI score of at least 5.5, and 4.0 in each subscore. (Some courses require higher IELTS score.)
