Program Overview

This four-year Bachelor of Science degree combines core economic theory with practical marketing skills. You'll explore how economic principles guide business decisions—especially in emerging markets—while learning to create and promote value in a multi-channel marketing world.


Curriculum structure

Year 1
You’ll build a foundation in economic theory and marketing basics, including modules like Fundamentals of Marketing and Making of the Modern Economy. The focus is on understanding the market, pricing, branding, and how consumer needs drive business decisions.

Year 2
The second year deepens your economic understanding with Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Applied Policy, Customer Experience in a Digital World, and Skills for Business and Economics—helping you to see how economic policy and digital tools shape marketing strategies.

Year 3
You’ll move into advanced marketing and analysis with modules such as Marketing, Microeconomic and Macroeconomic Analysis, and Marketing Strategy. Optional modules let you explore areas like Business Analytics, Behavioral Economics, and Sustainability in Digital Marketing.

Year 4
In your final year, you will study Business Strategy, Principles of Marketing Research, and Marketing Research Project. You'll also choose optional modules such as Economics of Globalisation, Strategic Economic Thinking, and complete a substantial dissertation or project with real-world relevance.
