Curriculum Structure

Year 1
You'll build technical foundations through lectures, labs, and practical exercises.

Year 2
Advance your skills with a mix of applied and theoretical modules, plus a group project where you'll work as part of a team within a simulated commercial setting going through key phases of software development from ideation through to development, testing, delivery, and publishing

Optional Placement Year (Sandwich)
After Year 2, take a full year in industry supported by the university.

    Programming assignments, lab reports, group and individual projects, portfolios, presentations, and in-class tests. Many modules emphasize applied work.

  • All modules include formative tasks (drafts, lab supervision, quizzes) for ongoing improvement, plus summative assessments that determine module marks.
