Established in 1992, the University of Lincoln is a public research university located in the cathedral city Lincoln, UK. The University of Lincoln has been awarded gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework 2017, judged as delivering consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students.
The university comprises of three colleges: College of Science; College of Art and College of Social Science. Each college comprises of various schools, institutes and research centers. Being located physically in the center of the UK's agri-business industry, Lincoln University offers world-leading programs in agricultural and food production technology. The university has partnerships with many local agricultural production and engineering companies as well as national food retailers such as Tesco and Marks and Spencer.
The university has partnered with Study Group to provide International Foundation Year Program and International Year One programs. The International Foundation Year is a supportive, one-year course that aims to prepare the student for joining the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln. The International Year One is an intensive one-year course that is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. It will prepare the student for joining the first or second year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln.
