The University of NorthamptonThis is a level 6 programme for Teaching Assistants, unqualified teachers and other education paraprofessionals. You will examine issues and debates surrounding education and, on successful completion, can apply to Qualified Teacher Status programmes or undertake other careers in educational support such as learning mentors.
We ask that applicants have completed a Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning or equivalent, amounting to 240 Credit Accumulation Transfer Scheme (CATS) points. We also ask that you have recent or current experience in a school or other educational establishment. English Language Requirements All International and EU students applying for a course with us must meet the following minimum English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands
