BA (Hons) Primary Teaching Studies

This degree gives you a direct route into entry-level primary school teaching. We have excellent links with urban and rural Primary Partnership schools so you can gain extensive teaching experience in each year of your degree. On graduation, we recommend you for Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) status, which allows you to apply for your first job in teaching and, after a year, progress to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This course is designed for people who have an interest in education and the ways in which people learn and develop, and it supports you in developing your ability to examine aspects of educational theory and practice.
