The BEng Biomedical Engineering at the University of Dundee is a 3-year full-time program. Accredited by both the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), the course partially fulfills the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

Year 1: Science and Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Project Management, Electromagnetism and Circuits
Year 2: Medical Instrumentation, Introduction to Human Form and Function, Mathematics for Engineers, Electronics and Instrumentation
Year 3: Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, Medical Imaging and Surgical Procedures, Biomedical Engineering Design, Surgical Technology and Clinical Environment
Year 4: Advances in Biomedical Engineering Research, Biomedical Engineering Project, Medical Devices and Professional Skills, along with optional modules
Design and Laboratory Projects throughout all years with clinical relevance
Individual Final Year Project (design or research-based, often in partnership with industry or NHS)
