Program Overview

You will be completing our BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering degree. NTU is one of the most popular universities for civil engineering education in the UK. We're 3rd for the number of year-long placement undergraduates studying civil engineering (HESA, 2016/17). Our course offers a balance of vocational and theoretical content. You'll develop your general understanding of civil engineering, focusing on key core subject areas: geotechnics, materials, and structures. You'll develop your knowledge and skills in: building technology; computer-aided design; health and safety; the environment; hydraulics; ground engineering; and structural engineering.

A-levels BBB, excluding General Studies; or BTEC Extended Diploma DDM; or UCAS Tariff points from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, excluding General Studies; and GCSEs English grade C / 4 and Maths grade B / 5 or Two year Post Tawjahiya from higher technical institutes or commercial institutes or two years diploma, OND / HND and associate degrees, IELTS of 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in each component, Personal Statement.
