It has wide ranging applications, including rail engineering, aerospace and renewable energy, leading to demand for graduates in this area. In Stages 1 and 2 you study a common syllabus, developing your expertise in electrical machines and electronic communications systems. You also undertake a large individual design project for example, solar power to energy transformation and the development of an energy monitor unit to showcase your skills to future employers
