The Lift & Escalator Technology HND course provides a comprehensive understanding of lift technology and relevant engineering principles, starting from the basics to more advanced lift or escalator topics. Students can choose their focus within the program depending on their interest in lifts or escalators. In addition, the course includes a project and case study that are work-related.
The course is delivered entirely online, making it ideal for individuals working in the industry while studying at the same time. As a course designed for people who are working in the lift industry, we do not expect the majority of applicants to have any formal qualifications but to have relevant work experience. Those without relevant work experience may enter the course with one A-level qualification as well as GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above.
