BSc (Hons) Non-Destructive Testing (Top-up)

NA Distance Learning Bachelors Program

The University of Northampton

Program Overview

The Non-Destructive Testing BSc (Hons) program expands upon the concepts explored in the Non-Destructive Testing FdSc to enhance your expertise and abilities, leading to better job performance and career advancement. The program comprises four modules and a significant project, totaling 120 credits. It is closely aligned with the Personal Certificate of Non-Destructive Testing (PCN) by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BiNDT).

The course will teach you advanced non-destructive testing methods, such as corrosion analysis, thermographic testing, vibration analysis, and other advanced inspection techniques. Additionally, there is a substantial project component to the course which is directly related to your work in NDT and allows you to focus on a topic of your choice.

The course is designed to be flexible and delivered through a modular approach via distance learning, allowing you to study when it suits you. You can choose to take the course full-time or part-time and have the option to select which modules to study at each stage.

If you're unsure whether the full course is right for you, you can take a single module to test the waters or specialize in a particular area.

Module assessments are based solely on coursework.
