Our BA in Comparative Literature and Film Studies allows you to combine two complementary subjects and make connections between them.In the first year you’ll be given a solid grounding in the discipline of literary studies, and an introduction to the history of film and key concepts in film studies.From the second year you’ll choose modules from modern fairy tales to First World War literature and a host of themes from madness to migration, and cinema in France, Germany or India to film archaeology. You can even try your hand at screenwriting.
70% from CBSE/ISC, 65% from West Bengal Board, 75% from Other Boards in 12th Standard. A Levels: BBB including one of the following: B or above in English Literature, English Language, English Language & Literature, History, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Media Studies, Film Studies , Drama, Theatre Studies, Drama and Theatre Studies, Modern Languages, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Politics, Government and Politics, Dance, Photography or Art. IB: HL 30 points / 555 at Higher Level including one of the following: 5 or above in HL English Literature, HL English Language, HL English Language & Literature, HL History, HL Geography, HL Psychology, HL Sociology, HL Economics, HL Media Studies, HL Film Studies , HL Drama, HL Theatre Studies, HL Drama and Theatre Studies, HL Modern Languages, HL Religious Studies, HL Philosophy, HL Politics, HL Government and Politics, HL Dance, HL Photography or HL Art.
