University of GreenwichThis degree is offered by the Department of Literature, Language and Theatre. It allows you to combine studies in English literature and creative writing in order to develop an understanding of literary texts through both study and practice. The English literature component of the degree emphasises literature written since 1800, and interprets 'English literature' broadly to include drama and visual narratives as well as fiction and poetry, visual art and theatre. The courses look at the historical, social and cultural contexts in which texts are produced and received.
