Students will study two languages at the same time with the possibility of a third language later on. This course will develop formal and informal language and communication skills and will introduce students to translation and interpreting techniques. Students also debate a range of topics, including history (current and past), politics, social and cultural issues, film and music, literature and area studies. The course will develop many other transferrable skills, such as time management and organisation; cultural understanding; working both independently and as part of a team.
