Curriculum Structure

Years 1 & 2: Your journey begins with a solid foundation in engineering science and the fundamentals of naval architecture. You'll delve into buoyancy, stability, ship types, and terminology, progressing to subjects like resistance and propulsion, ship structural analysis, and marine engineering systems.

Years 3 & 4: Building on your core knowledge, you'll explore advanced topics such as the design of conventional ships, sailing yachts, high-speed ships, and other high-performance marine vehicles. State-of-the-art tools for analyzing water flow around ship hulls and predicting the stresses and strains in the hull structure will be at your disposal.
